One of my significant interests is the past - touching on both History and Archaeology.

The current topics I am exploring are:

• My Great Uncle Charlie was decorated at the Battle of  Le Cateau

• He served in the King's Own Scottish Borders, a distinguished regiment in the British Army

• Great Uncle Arthur served in the Middlesex Regiment, and was wounded at the First Battle of Ypres

• Both died as a result of their wounds. We remember them each year at Armistice.

• London Trivia - because I love London

• COLAS is an excellent source of information on all aspects of London Archaeology
  including my favourites: Roman, Medieval and Post-Medieval.
