The Dingle is a Grade II listed building - which means that it is of special interest, warranting every effort to preserve it.

"Early C19 red brick house. Slate roof with gabled ends. Brick dentil eaves course. Three-storeys. Three bays. Sashes with glazing bars, with plain lintels. Ground floor has 2 later C19 bay windows, on square with pilasters, entablature and tripartite sash, the other canted with pilastered sashes and cornice. Central later C19 porch with original early C19 pilastered doorway with broken pediment and semi-circular traceried fanlight. Two-storey one bay wing to left."
